Well, yesterday was another of those “Sunny Spells and Scattered Showers” days. I was photographing a wedding in my home county of Meath and had arrived at the hotel for the reception. Despite a few of the scattered showers, the weather cleared up enough to do some of the family group photos. So we duly went outside and even saw a little bit of sun. Then, all of a sudden, in the space of about 30 seconds from the first drop – we had a torrential downpour which lated about 20 minutes. We had to take shelter in an old wooden smoking shelter outside. Despite the rain, everyone had a great laugh and just took it as part of the day.
