Dun Laoghaire FOWC 2010

I’ve been going to this ever since it started and have been an occasional volunteer and regular photographer there. It’s always a great festival, and I’m looking forward to going along again this year.

I can’t really have a post without a photo, so here’s some pictures of Dun Laoghaire Harbour taken last night. It was a beautiful clear night, with some lovely light in the sky as the sun set. I didn’t have my tripod with me, so all these are taken handheld (or resting the camera against one something along the pier) :

I must say your photo looks a great deal more attractive than the postcard I had! I am in two minds about the demolished buildings being reinstated. It’s always a shame to lose a piece of history, but the view does look very pleasant the way it is.
