The wedding of Yvonne and Aaron took place in December – not long before Christmas. The ceremony was in Kilmainhamwood Church, and the reception in Cabra Castle Hotel, near Kingscourt Co. Cavan. Like the recent cold weather, it was also very frosty then, although there was some bright sunshine during the day.

The doves were outside Kilmainhamwood Church and were released after the ceremony. However, it was so cold that they needed a bit of encouragement to leave their nice warm cage !

I thought the hotel used very creative lighting all around, to create a wonderful atmosphere. A lot of the outside lighting was just for Christmas, but there is still plenty of floodlighting all year round.
