This couple chose two great locations for their Wedding Day. The chapel in Castleknock College for the wedding ceremony, followed by a reception in Luttrellstown Castle. I had never previously photographed a wedding in the college – but recognised the interior from other sources (including one of the current TV ads for the Lotto !). The groom had been a student in the college, and so decided to have the ceremony there.

Next, a short drive to the main reception location. The castle grounds have a picturesque lake and bridge along the entrance avenue – so we stopped for a few wedding party photos on the way. I don’t think I’ve ever heard Luttrellstown Castle mentioned without someone reminding me that Victoria Adams & David Beckam were married there – but it’s been host to many other distinguished guests before and since. It’s an ideal wedding venue with great photo locations inside and out – all set in its own extensive grounds of 227 hectares.

I’ve included more ‘detail’ shots than usual, together with some of my favourite photos from the day  – I hope you enjoy them.

I thought the marble fireplace in the reception room was worth some photos on its own.
