Tracey & Paul had their Summer Wedding in St. Vincent de Paul Church in Marino, followed by a wedding reception in the Knightsbrook Hotel in Trim, Co. Meath. Incidentally, that’s my home town as well. I’ve photographed many parts of the town over the years, as well as weddings in other local venues.
It was a bright, sunny day as I arrived for the preparations at the bride’s house – and we knew we were going to have a great day for the wedding. I’m sure that’s one of the reasons why everyone was smiling so much all day.
The young nieces and nephews of the bride did their job well, by keeping things in order (mostly, anyway).
Part of the ceremony included “tying the knot” where a woven rope was used to symbolically tie the couple’s hands together.
The couple wanted to stop for a few photos on front of the castle – including one with the wedding car

This wasn’t exactly a planned photo ! I had intended to get the children to play some games – but then the bridesmaids and groomsmen decided to join in.
A fitting final photo – children playing on the dancefloor
