Jenny and Seán had their Winter wedding in St. Joseph’s Church, Terenure, followed by a reception in Clontarf Castle Hotel. I started at the Brides’ family home, with some photos of family and visiting friends. Then on to Brady’s Pub in Terenure for a few photos of the groom and groomsmen. It was dry and bright, but a little windy – so I ended up with more than my fair share of photos with hair blowing about.
The church is an unusual design, with the altar in the centre, and aisles on both sides. However, this meant it was a bit easier to take photos unobtrusively from lots of different angles. Following the ceremony, we went on to one of my favourite Dublin venues – Clontarf Castle hotel. We had some family photos in the bright reception area – followed by some more group and fun photos on the large staircase. We had hoped to get some outdoor photos, with the lit-up castle – but an earlier storm had unfortunately damaged the lights – so we didn’t get to do that in the end.
Finally, the evening ended with lots of dancing – and everyone involved, and having a great time.
